The Glasgow Garden Festival saw 4.3 million visitors enjoy 120 acres of attractions and more than 50 different entertainments on each of 152 days.
It helped transform perceptions of Glasgow at the centre of a decade of change and regeneration and gave the city a new confidence following an era of industrial decline.
Based on years of research and extensive interviews, this book tells the story of how that event came about, how it was made, what was there and what became of it.
